Switching formula milks in emergancies

I am bottle feeding my 17 week old daughter on Hipp organic formula milk and from time to time (in emergencies) i use the pre sterilised disposible bottles and cartoned milk but they don't do Hipp in cartons so i use an alternative brand.
Is it ok to change over milk like this?

Amyjade, I think you can judge by your daughter. If it has no ill effects on her I would think you can you whatever works for you! Don't think there is really all that much difference between different formulas, thought the formula companies would love you to believe that there was!

I do this all the time. Or I did, not so much now, as DS is older. Never worried about switching. DS has had no ill effects. Wouldn't worry. Be wary of SMA white though, I found it constipating.

Breastmilk changes all the time, so don't see why you should stick to one brand of formula.

I agree with everyone else. If your baby is fine then it is OK.
