Bridesmaid dress that allows breastfeeding?

My friend and I are going to be bridesmaids at a wedding in July. I'll be able to express by then but she's currently pg with her second and will have a baby of less than 4 weeks on the day. Any ideas for where we can find a suitable dress which will allow her to bf during the wedding without having to go and sit in a private room to strip off? The bride is pretty flexible re style, colour etc so it just needs to be a nice dress of some kind that's a bit special. Anyone else had this experience and found something suitable?

I'd try MamaNana - I'm thinking of getting one of their dresses for a wedding I'm going to.

I have just been shopping madly for this very dilemma, baby will be 8 weeks. There are some lovely v neck dresses in atm, I got mine from Hobbes in the end. Also dessy do a crazy wrap dress which you can wear loads of different ways, lots of which look bf friendly! I ordered loads from mamanana etc but they were all too "casual" to be bridesmaids dresses IMO (all thin jersey). They were lovely though l!

www.babeswithbabies.com have a few nice ones too. Haven't tried any of the dresses but have bought a few breastfeeding tops from them and they are great.

Thanks for the ideas everyone, wrap dresses are a good idea and I'll look at MamaNana too.

was a bridesmaid 3 weeks ago (in new zealand) with a 7a wk old. the other bridesmaid had a 2 week old! we had dresses from coast, just with tiny straps. we wore a shrug to hide the massive straps of nursing bras. the straps could come off, so i just unhooked the front clasp and rolled top down adn got on with it. also had expressed a fair amount of boob juice too tho!

good luck xx
