but I have to share with somene and its probably TMI, Grin

I posted a few days ago about my BFing worries, am 30 weeks nove ever made milk.

Even when baby arrived have not got anything from my nipples except clear fluid with whisps of white.

I don't know what normal is TBH but its always disheartened me.

I was just sat here and felt the familiar tinglings so gave a squeeze and 2 or 3 drops of proper white milk came out Shock

I know I must sound like a loon but was amazed!!

And its really made me feel more confident about trying BFing again this time because I now know there IS milk in there!

Good luck with bfing this time around :) so pleased you are feeling more confident!

Don't feel like a loon Smile
I didn't have anything I could get out at all while pregnant despite lots of squeezing Blush.
And remember that the colostrum you get at the beginning doesnt really look much like normal milk.

But well done anyhoo Grin

Yes have always gotten wispy water and when babies arrive some thicker watery stuff, that looked sort of sugary but never anything that resembled milk.

Its a bit of a daft thing to get excited about but it was thick whitey yellow milk!

in all 3 previous pregnancies its never happened!

wow Grin

Great news TorosOscarina - it's hard to have faith in our bodies sometimes isn't it.

Hope things go well for you. Smile

:)
my colostrum didn't look at all like milk though, just a yellowy, clear, thick liquid.
good luck :)

Mine didn't look like milk either. 1st pregnancy it was luminous yellow and second time it looked clear, but after expressing some into a syringe it was actually golden Smile

OP, plenty of help on here once baby arrives to see you through the early days and beyond. Good luck!

The first few days after my baby was born i only got clear fluid - looked like water. Even now if i pump sometimes you could think it as just cloudy water sometimes you can actually see through it a bit Hmm. I thought that's what everyones looked like?! Im worried now!

Hello, I've seen photos of clear colostrum.

It's fine.

Human milk can be watery. Indeed mine is often watery and green.

I figure if it comes out of your nipples, it's fine for your baby.

Good luck.
