Does reflux have to happen every feed/day to be reflux

DD 16wks has days when she barely spits up anything and then other days like today when she brings up loads (3 soaked bibs and a wet baby grow already). It is disheartening as it feels like shes brought up most of what shes taken. She gets a little upset just before puking but is fine afterwards. Any ideas or solutions?

could it be that she's got a bubble of wind caught?

I've solved this problem with mine by feeding them him sitting bolt upright and winding him lots through a feed.

I hate it when they throw it all up and you have to start again!

Do you wind several times throughout the feed or one big sesh at the end?

Ds had severe reflux. I can't think of a feed he had that he didn't bring up, although the quantity brought up varied. It was interspersed with bouts of projectile vomiting.

wind several times through a feed. one big sesh at the end results in one big puke!

Oh she never projectile vomits and definitely has some feeds when nothing comes up at all.... so hopefully not reflux then
