I have a 7 week ds who is ebf since birth,However over the past 4 weeks he crys in pain after feeds pulling his knees up to tummy and arching his back, Mainly in the evening. I seem to have fast flowing milk and he gulps away at it and think he is gathering wind because of this.

My question is do you think my latch may not be correct?

Is there a position i could try that may help my milk to not flow so fast? He seems to choke on it a lot to.

Any ideas, advice would be great. Phoned local breastfeeding support worker yesterday and left a message but not heard back from her yet.

Thankyou

I too have a very fast flow and a windy baby. I have found that if DD's legs are lower than her body, she is less windy. I have a breast feeding pillow that helps me with that

Try leaning right back as you feed so that your flow is slowed down as your milk is flowing up hill.
