How much bigger will my boobs get when the milk comes in?

I started pregnancy sized 32F. I bought nursing bras at Christmas time in a 34HH in the hope that they would last me until post-pregnancy.

I'm currently 32 weeks and I'm beginning to burst out of these a bit. I certainly couldn't fit my boobs and breast pads into these cups. Hopefully they won't get all that much bigger until the milk comes in.

As bras are expensive (hardly anyone sells bras in these massive cup sizes), I'd prefer to buy ones that will last, so I'd appreciate hearing about your experiences.

How many cup sizes did your breasts go up when your milk came in?

I went fro 38DD (late pregnancy) to a 36FF (9 weekold ds/milk has settled alot) so the back size went down one to 36 but cups went up 3 sizes.

Debenhams do nursing bras 2 for £25 - or you could get measured and buy of ebay :)

Debenhams 2 for £25 only goes up to 34H and I'm bigger than that already. NCT does 34J and 34K for £14 each, which are about the cheapest I can find.

I was temporarily bigger before my milk settled in but now I'm the same size I was in late pregnancy, just on tighter fastenings iyswim.

Thinking I'll just go for one cup size bigger.

I was similar to japhrimel - 34D at the end of pregnancy, 34DD after my milk came in, and then after a couple of months back down to a D.

The old "up a cup size, down a band size" worked for me. 34dd pre pregnancy, 36e during and 34f nursing.
I'm afraid to say I have found you really get what you pay for with nursing bras. All my cheap ones stay in the drawer, total waste of money, the ones I wear are hot milk and bravado, I'd say keep an eye out for sales.

I went from a 32AA to a 36C. I gained a lot of weight! I loved to have bigger breasts, but I am back to a 32A now. I used Anita nursing bras, loved it.
