It was flapjack. Preferably just how my mum made it. Syrup for the instant hit, oats for slow release good grain (or at least that's how I justified eating so many!)

I had a lot of chocolate and cake in the early weeks but then got thrush when I had antibiotics and it was agony! Sweet stuff feeds the thrush so now I really limit it. brie and biscuits is my post-bfing treat now!

notnowbernard · 06/02/2011 20:25

Anything edible, really Blush

I can't seem to stop eating AND ds is nearly 6m Shock

Losing weight though, on the plus side. Might be toothless at this rate, mind

ReshapeWhileDamp · 06/02/2011 20:29

Last time it was Millionaire's Shortbread! The staple of our postnatal get-togethers.

This time I don't know what I want. I roam the kitchen looking for something Sweet. Fruit juice? no. Fruit? No. Ice cream? Not really. Sweets?? Surprisingly, no. (won't stop me eating them but I want Something and that isn't it.)

Actually, too tired from coping with DS2 to have an appetite!

rubyslippers · 06/02/2011 20:31

In the early days it was chocolate and crmpets with peant butter

I so get the roaming the kitchen thing. Anything sweet will do. DH came in before and asked had I eaten 3 bakewell tarts. I had. He just looked like this ---> Shock I didn't tell him about the 2 orange club bars and biscuits I had eaten this afternoon!

Still want more food now though.

TittyBojangles · 07/02/2011 12:11

jaffa cakes... have been known to get through a whole triple box in one sitting Blush

CamperFan · 07/02/2011 19:04

At 15 weeks in I am trying not to buy so much stuff like that now as my weight seems to be stuck at half a stone heavier than pre-DS2. But I ate LOADS of G&B at the beginning. And we used to frequently do a "cake run" to M&S for their swiss rolls and the like during the first month - it was an outing for all of us and DH and DS1 were very happy during my cake addiction.

Today I had a bit of a relapse. Scoured the house for something cake like and found leftover Xmas cake, in a tin, completely fine and had a large slice Blush. Then went out and bought Co-Op's Date and Walnut cake, which I heart lots at the moment.

CamperFan · 07/02/2011 19:05

Titty, I have to say I am impressed by that.

SleepWhenImDead · 07/02/2011 19:07

Brownie in a mug and nice vanilla ice-cream. Or flapjack in the daytime.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 08/02/2011 07:04

With DC1 it was Poppycock cashew popcorn. Was eating a box a day. BF came around and read the packaging one day, she was a bit Shock that it is a 1000 calories a box.

Gorgeous Grin
