Experiences with combined pill when bf a toddler - was supply affected?

I have just gone onto the combined pill as didn't get on with the mini pill. I understand it may affect my milk supply, but as DS is 2.4, I decided the benefits of being on the pill outweighed the risk that I might lose my milk, as I feel I've done "enough" (though planning to let him self-wean).

I just wondered what others' experience had been? Did you lose your supply or was it well established enough not to be an issue?

I asked DS the other night if he would be sad if the milk ran out and he said "Yes, sad." I said "You like milk, don't you?" and he said "Yes, my like moolk." then he thought for a while and said "It's alright Mummy, I like dinosaurs." I said "What, you like dinosaurs instead of milk?" and he said "Yes. Like dinosaurs stead of moolk." Grin

No idea in response to your question, but your DS is gorgeous. Grin

Nope, my ds is 2.8 and I've been on the pill for 4 months without it being an issue :)

And may I just add Wine because I can
Where did that come from????

Yeah I just noticed that too - it seems to have replaced the pom bear!

Thanks for your reply :) Supply doesn't seem to have been affected so far - I was even feeling engorged yesterday which I haven't had for ages.
