Want to stop bf but pretty sure dd doesn't want to stop... Ideas?

Hi, dd is 14 months and I feed her before bed, during the night, first thing in the morning and just before naps if I am at home.... We are trying to get her to sleep through the night and she has formula at nursery (3 afternoons a week) and when my dh looks after her/when we are out (I only feed at home now)...

I really want to give up bf now but she wont take milk another way before bed and when she wakes she goes mental if dh goes in and refuses to settle for him when she has decided she wants boob... I dont see her giving it up willingly or easily... Any tips?

Dh works odd shifts so not at home same time each day....

Go out and then she will have to settle - might be tough on dh but it's one night.

dd was bf until 8 months when I had norovirus and couldn't move without being sick. My parents came to look after dd and gave her her first bottle ever. She hardly had anything all day, but the second day she took it really well. I tried bf at bedtime but it only lasted a couple of weeks until dd started hitting my boobs and giggling. That was the end of that. Maybe take her to choose her new bottle?

Good luck!
