If I do it wakes her up.

Sorry for starting so many threads tonight. Many questions and a mammoth feed going in with only iPhone and mumsnet for entertainment.

I never really bother winding ds unless he looks uncomfortable.

I tend to just DD her over my shoulder and the walk up the stairs or down the hall to her cot results in a burp. She stirs a bit but either her thumb goes in her mouth to send her back to sleep or I put a dummy in

No I wouldn't. I read somewhere that they are so relaxed that wind is unlikely to be an issue.
