For info, the above is going to be on a live webchat at 1pm on 26th Jan on a site that sounds a bit like 'gargle'. Presumably she's outlining her views on weaning in response to the recent research published.

Have fun! Grin

I can't think of a site that sounds like "gargle".

But I would probably be giving it a miss anyway.

SecretNutellaFix · 20/01/2011 19:22

please don't try to stir things up.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 21/01/2011 20:33

damn, I took the thread title to mean she was coming here! Grin

scottishmummy · 21/01/2011 20:50

guru is that euphemism for gobshite?

StealthPolarStuckSpaceBar · 21/01/2011 21:31

what site sounds like gargle?

scottishmummy · 21/01/2011 21:34

never meandered over but gurgle

"please don't try to stir things up"

Oh please do!

I'm going to ask her whether she thinks it's helpful that mothers are given so much conflicting advice on breastfeeding.

If she says 'no' then I'd feel the need to ask her why she is giving out so much advice which runs counter to that given out by qualified breastfeeding counsellors and lactation consultants in the UK at present.

Is it that they're all wrong and she's right? And if so, how could they have got it so mistaken?

StealthPolarStuckSpaceBar · 22/01/2011 08:11

oh - wasn't being dumb, never heard of it, will have a look thanks.

Now she's in the habit of doing webchats, what are the chances she'd do one for us?

Bucharest · 22/01/2011 08:17

Presumably her advice will be her usual thinly veiled subliminal "you won't be able to do this without paying ME lots of money to teach you".

I reckon the likelihood of her coming here are about the same odds as getting Cleggy back.

StealthPolarStuckSpaceBar · 22/01/2011 08:53

but we could really benefit from her experience and expertise

belgo · 22/01/2011 08:55

Just clicked on the site and the woman bfing her baby looks so uncomfortable.
