After problems feeding ds and poor weight gain, I started taking fenugreek at the midwives suggestion. After a while I noticed he was getting very runny poos so I stopped and switched to domperidone from my gp. Now a week or so after starting, he is getting runny poos again. Can the fenugreek / domperidone have this side effect or is it just coincidence?
It is more than just the usual breastfed pop runny I think - watery and explosive.
If I take neither his poo seems normal but he is miserable - crying after feeds, unsatisfied, sucking on sore and empty breasts.
