Please excuse ay typos, I/ am eating, feeding and typing! My DD is 10 weeks old and now very nearly seeping 12 hours at night. How lomg will it take for my supply to adjust? I am waking every night in pain and soaking wet! Also if her sleep regresses how long would it take to build up again?

Hi Giddyup. My 16 week old has done a 10 hour stretch for the last 5 nights, having suddenly jumped from a 5 hour stretch! My boobs were agony the first 3 nights but the last 2 have settled down to just being very very full and a bit sore rather than agony! So hoping it is slowly adjusting and will be okay after maybe 10 days to a fortnight (assuming she is still sleeping through by then!)

Thats good to know megonthemoon, its too cold to get that soggy in th wee small hours- brrrr!

Ah Garlicsheep I know I am a lucky so and so, but she feeds all day long and is a monster to get to nap. She was also 10lb 1/2oz and had to be cut from my womb, hence the big tummy to fill up by bedtime. Also, you gace me some lovely advice and encouragement about Bf when I was preggo so I feel indebted to you and that you are partly responsible for my well fed lump of a child.

A friends baby was similar and now wakes every hour or two so I am not counting my chucks yet, althoguh DS never regressed. He was formula fed by 16 weeks though so not sure if that makes a difference?

DD often need s a formula top up at dinner time as she feeds so so much in the day, but by my bedtime I am already full to the brim. I thought about expressing late at night so top up could be EBM but don't particularly want to prolong the engorgement, I might If this sleeping lasts when I feel less knackered. DD won't take a dream feed either as I greedily thought and extra feed for take her from 11ish hours to 12.
