DD is nearly 7 months old and still bf every 1.5/2hrs in day and normally twice a night. She has solids 2-3 times a day, not giant amount yet but this makes no difference.

Ive got to the point of exhaustion as got DS who is 3yrs 9months to look after too, have read posts from people saying their 1yrs olds still do this and don't think I could cope doing this for another 6months!

Don't get me wrong I enjoy bf and am happy to continue, but I need some time to look after ME and the rest of the family someone please tell me she will start spacing out soon as starting to consider trying bottles and formula again?! Thanks x

She will start spacing her feeds out more soon! She will, honestly.
My DS was like this, and extra bad at night at this age which was hell. He never really got into the solids until he was 7 months, just wasn't that interested, and then suddenly just started filling up more on the solids and less on the milk. When she's ready things will change and I would think that will happen soon, and when it does happen it will happen quickly. You've got this far you can do it!
By 9 months my DS was having 3 milk feeds a day and sleeping through.
By the same token though, don't make yourself miserable, I know how exhausting it can be so it you get totally desperate one cup of formula every so often at this stage wont ruin your milk supply, she's having solids too anyway so it's not like she's relying on your milk completely anymore. DS had a cup of formula at nursery at lunch time from 9 months and he's still breastfeeding now at 20 months.
Hope that helps, keep your chin up!

Thanks! Am hoping when she starts crawling etc it might distract her a bit too as she will be more busy playing!!

Am going to try and cook some more filling proper meals this week and introduce meat etc so maybe that will help :-)

DS was ff so I expect at this stage he would have been doing the 7, 11, 3, 7!!

Posted this twice as so tired so now to reply to other one!
