my antibiotics causing baby tummy ache?

My 5 week DS has had terrible tummy ache and wind which has got so much worse since I started taking AB a week ago. The tablets have given me terrible tummy ache and made me rather loose so I wondered if they could have had the same effect with him?

I took my last ab this morning so if they are causing the problem I'm hoping things will improve but my tummy is still really crampy now. I have had the same course of AB twice sice he was born so maybe an intolerance developed?

Am hoping it is as not getting any sleep - he's in the sling in a day as he is most comfy upright and on a night ~I'm just scared to co=sleep if he's tummy doen on my propped up chest.

If it is the problem any idea when it'll be out of our system?

hi i was on oral AB after being discharged after c-section and then readmitted into hospital and had intravenous AB for 10 further days. during this time i breastfed only and dd had obvious tummy problems. as soon as i finished it i was advised to clear my gut by drinking loads of "if i remember right" cranberry juice. im sure someone could confirm as dd is now 3. but she settled soon after. midwives initially told me its up to me. i could either formula feed or baby will have little poop and wind probs.
