DS always used to prefer the right boob (he latched better on that side). Then a couple of weeks ago, for some unknown reason, he changed his mind. Now he will only feed on the right boob for a couple of minutes before getting agitated, thrashing about and pulling off, and I'm getting really sore and lumpy on that side - probably blocked ducts. Feeding in public is also becoming a challenge because of all the writhing around revealing my boob to all and sundry.
Is the right boob going to shut up shop if I can't get him to feed on that side? What would I do then? Also, will I end up catastrophically lopsided? My left one has always been slightly bigger but the difference is much more noticeable now I'm bfing.
He is 14wks and exclusively bf.
