Neocate and poos! TMI - sorry :-)

Hi,
DC1 (7 weeks) started on Meocate LCP last week after beign diagnosed with severe cow's milk protein allergy. I was wondering if anyone else had used this and could comment on the state of her poos? They are very dark green (which I understand from the consultant is normal). They are much stickier and sloppier than when she was on cow's milk formula and Nutramigen and look like they may have a bit of mucous mixed in with them. And now I think she may be constipated - it's been 36 hours since her last poo. Anyone had similar?? Thankyou!

Yes - all sounds normal. I also found that after 2 weeks or so, the mucous stopped (perhaps the last traces of dairy leaving the system?) and that now they are very thick and pasty (although DS is also on Gaviscon, which is known to constipate too). I offer a bottle of water at 4 pm to try to ease the constipation - it means he now goes at least every other day.
