Does anyone know why?

The website says to check back in December but doesn't really give much more info.

what a bummer.

Were you considering it Ineedsomesleep?

Maybe they're just oversubscribed ?

mother teresa said 'do not wait for the leaders; do it alone, person to person.'

if you can get on a peer counsellor course, do it like that. breastfeeding is not rocket science. yes there are severe problems which need a lc but fgs women have been helping each other out for millennia!

I contacted the BFN to do peer counselling course they gave me details of 2 local people, so i called them, neither have any plans to do courses in the near future.

booooo

EauRouge · 12/11/2010 14:44

Have you tried LLL?

Just as the site says, check back in December - it's only next month :)

Reason is exactly as explained on the website. The application process is changing to make it more streamlined and the documentation for this has to be checked and then uploaded.

Ineedsomesleep · 12/11/2010 16:12

Fair enough tiktok, obviously I hadn't read it properly.

Yes I had been considering it. Not very academic though and not sure which one to apply for. Is the choice NCT, LLL or ABM?

Or BfN.

For NCT/BFN/LLL, I think you are trained in person, so you need to find a local course, iyswim. (And anyway, whichever of those organisations runs your local dropins is better for you to train with anyway, because then you'll be able to help out at the drop ins, iyswim.)

ABM does remote training.
