Have been having some problems feeding dd3 (4 weeks)from a fast breast so been expressing off some milk to slow it (not convinced but thats all the advice everyone gives)

The worst feed for her is the night feed from that side (she is awake x2 and feeds from one side each time usually) so I wondered if this continued if I expressed at the same time as feeding her at one feed dh could give her the milk at the other feed?

I'd rather she fed from a cup but can't find one so what do people use? or what are the best bottles to use?

If you have any tips on the fast flow I'll have them too as I'd prefer just to carry on feeding her myself for now.

what's fast flow? .....
i think the bottle/beaker ones are quite good (they're a bottle but with handles but a bit more of a beaker shaped teat0 we've got em from boots and superdrug...

I found this article here which talks about fast flow a bit further down.

Could you use a small plastic container or an egg cup? Or could you ask your mw or hv to nab one for you?

I think you can just something like a shot glass, but have to say our midwife gave us a cup feeding cup and the little lip does seem to make it easier. You can order them from Express Yourself Mums

Thanks, the article is spot on describing her probs although I've been doing what they say about letting her control position/latch etc so she is comfy which helps during the day bit not when she is tired. She is getting better so it may improve as she gets older.

I've also been suggested doidy cup but may be too young.I used a bottle lid with dd1 but as I don't have any bottles I thought I might just buy a cup.
