Lots of green poos in BF baby

DD is EBF. She is six months old but four months adjusted (if that makes any difference).
Over the past few days she has started taking both boobs at a feed and lasting three hours (ish) between feeds. She is also sleeping much better at night.

But I have been noticing her poos getting green and today so far we have had six small green poos. Normally she has 2-3 per week.

My googling indicates this might be a foremilk imbalance. Which I guess makes sense as when she takes a bit from the second boob she must get a bit more foremilk.
I am already encouraging her to stay on boob one for as long as possible but often she gets grumpy at me, I guess because it's too slow for her.

Other than the poos she is fine, happy alert etc. Should I just carry on as I am and hope she adapts to the extra foremilk? Stop offering the second boob (I don't think she'd kick up a fuss, but assume she would want feeding more frequently again)? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Doesn't matter.

All babies have green poo sometimes.

Some babies have green poo a lot.

A few babies' poo is always green.

In a healthy baby it is of no concern at all.

Just continue offering what she seems to want.

:)

Thanks tiktok. It's so nice to have some virtual hand holding!!
About four and a half months ago I posted when DD first started feeding directly from the boob. This coincided with her waking up from her sleepy prem baby phase and I was worried that the breast feeding was making her unsettled. You and others posted and reassured me and we're still going strong. I am so pleased that I just went with it, cuddling her and feeding her on demand.
Any way, just wanted to say thanks for that.

There is no such thing as too much cake when you are bf. That's a fact. Grin

My DS would have bouts of green poo for reasons that I never figured out. Sometimes it would be one nappy, sometimes it would be every nappy for several days; DH and I angonised and googled constantly, convinced that we were doing something wrong. When we finally mentioned it to the pediatrican, she said the same as tiktok. It just happens, for so many reasons it's not even worth investigating unless they are other problems as well - wind, no weight gain etc.

And you can have too much cake if you are still BF at 8 months. I have the hips to prove it. :(
