Medela Freestyle vs Medela Pump in Style

Does anyone have experience of these double pumps?

Up untill now I've been using 2 Medela Swings at the same time. But after several uses per day for 3 months one of them has stopped working altogether and the other one is well on its way to packing up.

So I bought a £250 Medela Freestyle. It's the most expensive double pump so I assumed it would be the best quality. But the suck is MUCH poorer than the 2 Medela Swings. So we're getting a Medela Pump In Style instead.

Is the suck of the Pump in Style powerful? The Amazon reviews suggest so. Or should I stick with buying 2 humble Medela Swings?

Bump for you

Hmm, I'm surprised you had problems with the Freestyle. I've had a Swing and now have the Freestyle and find the suck the same. Just to check, but you know you can turn up the suck? Sometimes the suck is low on mine but it's just one of the tubes not firmly inserted into the back of the cone bit.

Maybe it is worth calling Medela over this? I had to call them once and they were very helpful. The pump is certainly expensive enough...
