How likely is DD to self wean during my pregnancy?

Well, just that really.

I am now 8 weeks pregnant (after a recent miscarriage) and tentatively planning this next pregnancy and baby. I am not sure I am really up for tandem feeding - DD was exhausting in her feeding demands and if the new baby is similar I rather like the idea of DH being fully interchangeable with me for looking after DD iyswim.

She only feeds before bed and first thing in the morning, but is quite insistent in wanting 'meek' at those times.

What are people's experiences?

How old is DD?
Mine went off my milk a bit when I first fell pg which was useful. When she tried to feed again (after a couple of days) I offered cows milk in a new cup that she loved and told her mummy's milk was for babies. I was just too ill and too tender to feed her anymore. She was just 2 and it was no where near as traumatic as I had imagined.

Congratulations and good luck Smile
