Did you leak more with one pregnancy than others? Did it affect feeding when baby arrived?

With my first pregnancy I leaked a lot from about 7 months onwards, by the time I was due I was sleeping with towels under me.

This time round, I have leaked a little but no where near as much.

Is this normal? Should I be concerned?

Did this happen to you, did it affect your ability to breastfeed?

I'm due in 2 wks and worrying about everything

I have never leaked in any of my three pregnancies, including the pregnancy in which I was still feeding 20 weeks into it!

But when my milk comes in I am awash with the stuff and very prone to engorgement for the first few months.

Assuming you bf and had plenty of milk first time around, so I wouldn't worry at all. Your body might just be reacting differently to the hormones this time, like feeling sick with one pregnancy and not another.

I leaked all over the place when pg with dd1, also had a lot of drip milk from the non feeding breast (iyswim) but dd2 was totally different. No leaks, no drips but had no problem at all with bf. I think dd1 was more of a practice run and my body was a bit more efficient by the time dd2 came along.

I only have one DD, however, I did not leak at all while I was pregnant and have had no supply issues at all.
