Bfing and weight loss plateau

Hi

I've been doing weightwatchers for two months, since ds was nearly 9 months.

I get 5 additional "points" for bfing and the first stone just fell off at a 1.5lb steady rate of loss. per week However, when I reached my pre-pg weight (still overweight, BMI about 26.6) three weeks ago I was told to put my points down by 2.

Since then, I have lost no weight, despite continuing to walk 5-7 miles a day and sticking religiously to the plan.

Just wondering if this is to do with the extra bfing points in some way. The options, I guess, are: a) I have too many points now as I am only morning and evening feeding now as he has recently night weaned himself and I guess it doesn't expend that many calories or b) the opposite: the drop in points has put my body into starvation mode Shock

Thoughts? I really want to be a healthy weight for Christmas as we hope to ttc again soon!

Think I must have some sort of certificate, have been back at WW for 2 months (DD2 now 4mths) and have managed to put on wt! 3lbs on actually. I have 10 extra points tho' so maybe thats where I'm going wrong!

My leader did say that I should spend my extra points on heathy stuff extra dairy, fruit and protein rather than excuse 4 pizza or choc etc! mm Wink

Are youcounting ur activity points?

For ur DS sake and 4 ttc u shouldn't be starving yourself and sounds like ur gonna b 1 fit mummy by Christmas walking 5 miles+ a day. Who cares if ur a bit more curvy?

Did SW after DD1 and didn't loose much wt until stopped BF when it didn't exactly fall off but lost 2st in 2mths. I'm trusting same will happen this time. At the moment contemplating last years maternity Christmas clothes Blush

Have it on good authority WW plan is changing next month (mum is doing training now). Hang on in there and stay happy and healthy Smile
