Am on day 3 and don't fit in the bras I bought. I went up a couple of cup / back sizes but am nowhere near. I need something until I stabilise & when can I expect to know roughly what I am?

Dd3 but totally forgotten from the others!

Have good but expensive shop locally so fine once im stabilise but for now I just need cheap & fast!

Congratuations!
There's no such thing as cheap and quick with nursing bras (please somebody prove me wrong). I'm still using these from boots. Thay provide more support than the jersey bras you get from marks and are really comfy. I'm still searching for something better and dc3 is 14w!!

I currently have some crop top sleeping bras which just about go on but apart from that I'm stuck. Been home an hour & am on second one so not looking forward to running out!

The shop near me sells hot milk but they are £££ so not buying til it's more permanent!

I don't know what size you are or if you are looking specifically for nursing bras, but if you're a DD or more then I find brastop to be good (on the net).
I am pregnant and have gone up 1 back size and 2 cup sizes already and have just bought a couple of bras from there for less than a tenner each.

They do next day delivery and you can usually get a coupon code so it's free (I'm very tight!).
I'm sure I'll need to buy more for when my milk comes in after DC2 is born but I don't mind so much when they're so cheap.

I've been using these bras from M&S only £25 for 2pk 1 black/1 white. Very comfortable but ont the most glamourous.

I think they do next day or delivery or you could pick up instore?

I think if I remember correctly my boobs settled down by the end of the first week. However even now at 12wks their size and fluctuate a bit.

ayjayjay · 10/10/2010 12:57

and should be can

nymphadora · 10/10/2010 13:04

Thanks, not 100% on size but my 36 E were too small. Back should be ok at 38 but what cup size?

There is a good guide for nursing bra fitting here

www.nursingbra.co.uk/nursing_bras.htm?gclid=CICI06CjyKQCFYE-4wodfTRSWA
is a god website where you can sarch by size, hot milk ones are not too expensive (cheaper than elsewhere) and deliery/refund or exchange was all very good and quick - if you order today, you should have them by tuesday would be my guess.

I am still fluctuating slightly at 12 weeks. They get a bit bigger with each growth spurt, but I was small to start with!

nymphadora · 10/10/2010 13:19

I was 34 c to start!

I've bought so bf-ing vests with inbuilt support for the first couple of weeks, then I've going to get measured. Could you do something similar?

Mothercare and Figleaves have them.

nymphadora · 10/10/2010 15:53

Got mothercare crop top thing on atm which is just up round my shoulders at the back with the weight. Can't get over how big I am. Only got to a D cup when bfeeding before.

I've got one of these, it's pretty grim but is a second from marks. delivery quite quick too.
this one

ps the grey marl doesn't look any better in real life!

nymphadora · 11/10/2010 10:36

Ta ordered one of those , crap crop tops are currently grey & pink so most things are an improvement.

Bit annoyed with M&s ordered some from there & they won't deliver to my localish (15m away) store so have to pay more to get them to home.
