Ahem... have you noticed your breastmilk smells different depending what you have eaten?

Did I really detect lastnights salmon steak scent in the milk when I was expressing today or was that my imagination... or do I have odd milk?

Dare not ask anyone i know in RL!

Probably, babies certainly object if you eat something they aren't keen on!

i've heard it's true! i had a really garlicky curry last night and was going to test the theory and smell my milk today, but i haven't had a chance to express. ds seems to be enjoying it anyway! bfing is meant to make babies less fussy about food as they have been exposed to lots of different flavours in breastmilk... we shall see.

I was thinking of testing my theory with garlic tomorrow.

Did have a moment of panic when I relised I was giving DS fishy milk - he didn't seem to mind though
