hi chipmonkey thanks for all your help with nursery issues. on the first day i left ds in nursery for am ( only intended an hour but he was happy) he was happy when we collected him. the next day he went all day. he didnt drink or eat much or even sleep much but he was again happy when we picked him up. Hes managed to get a vomiting virus that me and dh have picked up
so feel cr*p. so took him today to ( wasnt going to as he wasnt a 100%)but am glad we had the option and have managed to rest all day. so hopefully he will e fine when we pick him up. its awful the 1st time couldnt stop crying but now i know the majority of the time hes happy i feeling ok. thanks

Hi donna! That sound great, tho sorry you're not feeling well. I always manage to pick up some kind of bug as soon as I'm back off maternity leave, probably stress-related!! Your little man sounds like he's doing fine, he'll eat and drink more as he settles in, the main thing is that he's happy!

hi donna, my dd started nursery last week too. poor wee girl. she is not getting all the naptime she used to at home as home was just me and her during the day so always quiet in her nap time.

can you point me to your nursery thread to see if I can glean some information from it before I start to ask questions?

Alux, I found that with ds1 when he started nursery. After a while he learnt to sleep through more noise, never had this problem with the younger ones as they had older siblings around all the time when sleeping so had to get used to it early on!
