Anyone used a breastfeeding necklace?

My LO is 15 weeks and EBF. He now gets very easily distracted during day feeds, coming on and off a lot, which is pretty uncomfortable.

I heard about breastfeeding necklaces - has anyone tried one? did it work? Any recommendations?

Thanks

Hi

I got one off ebay- wasnt sure what I would get but couldnt find many alternatives on googling.

It was a string of plastic beads on a pretty tough plastic string which has been seriously pulled about with my 2 LO's.

It didnt really help with distraction though as my DD who I bought it for ended up distracted by it and chewing the beads rather than feeding....Confused

But it was great distractor round neck while carrying her around if she was grumpy and a particularly handy toy round my neck while she was in a baby sling and teething.

Kids now use it for dressing up- especially my DS!

Thanks very much Davidsmom. My DS puts everything in his mouth so suspect it may be chewed too. Maybe should rethink the idea.

I got one from here:

V. Blush about the name, but it did the trick and saved my face from tiny little claws. I never took it out of the house though.

After someone on here mentioned having a toy to focus wandering hands, I instigated the cleavage cow, the bean toy from cow and gate. It's just right for his little hands and the irony amuses me.

Lots of babies go through this around 4 months.

More info and tips here. It should improve.

I use a little teddy rattle for my DS, but he's 9 months - at 4 months he wouldn't have been able to hold it. He likes to drop it / beat me round the face with it. :)
