Can i now freeze this milk that's been stored in the fridge

Been in fridge for 4 days

HV said 5 days in the fridge was maximum. So can I now stick it in freezer? Or should you only freeze it straight away after expressing?

Hope I don't have to waste it

I would, as long as its not separated or started to smell funny, just make sure you use it straightaway once defrosted.

Ah cheers. Will freeze. It's kind of got creamy stuff sat on the top but mixes back together. That's not really separated is it?

I'd still go for it. Technically if the fridge is good enough, it can be there for more than 5 days. This I think is just most peoples safety net.

Thankyou. Am all reassured now!
