She's EBF and we've been getting on OK, happy, settled, feeding every 2-3hrs. No vomiting, just the v occasional dribble after a feed.

She had a big cluster feed yesterday morning and was then hugely sick. Happened again in the evening and at 11.30pm. Was ok through the night but has cluster fed all morning and isn't able to settle now, though no more vomiting. I've been winding her as best I can but she squirms and cries when upright. I'm holding her in tiger-in-the-tree now and she's sleeping but uncomfortable and I can feel her tummy grumbling and spasming. Fontanelles ok and she's otherwise bright.

DS was a windy baby who treated us to 6 months of full on colic every night. I am anxious that history is repeating!

Sounds as if she just overloaded herself a bit :)

If she is sleeping now, then she isn't uncomfortable any more. Everyone's tummy has movements and gurgling at all times, so this does not mean anything....if it is a bit louder than normal then maybe this reflects her mega-feeds :)

Honestly, this sounds to me all on the normal spectrum for a new baby, but obv if you think she may be poorly you would call a doc but from the sound of it she is actually well.

Ah fab, thanks. She's quite happy in this hold, just the occasional squirming/grunting/bringing her legs up in her sleep. Don't think she'll lie down comfortably. Must dust off the sling!

If she is ill she's not concerning me enough to want to see a medic at the moment, I'm happy to feed through it for now.

We had such a horrendous time with DS I'm on edge. HV gave me a lecture on Fri about not assuming I'm in for more of the same. I definitely had oversupply issues with him, I guess they might reappear though. Must chill out.

Thanks again :)
