just curious really. dd is 17mths old and still feeds app 4 times a day. she and I have a stonking cold at the minute. My question is will she get the antibodies I am making as well as make her own and will her cold therefore be any shorter than mine or will it make no difference.

she is getting your antibodies too. antibodies are more concentrated in toddler milk. I can't guarantee that her cold will be shorter than yours but it is more likely to be shorter and less severe than if she wasn't breastfed. I find btw that my 2 both seemed to bounce back better from colds than I do.
