Milk of the cow variety

Didn't know where to post this, so took a punt at here!

I have a 6 month baby, and am in 2 minds as to when I ought to introduce cows milk into his diet (as expressing breast milk every time he needs porridge etc. is turning out to be a pain already).

a. as an ingredient in food, such as a cheese sauce;

b. as a drink.

Thanks

I'd just add that if there's any dairy intolerance in your family you may wish to consider using goat's milk instead of cow's as it's less allergenic.
