Wonky breasts - can I change this before I give up bf?

So, left b always bigger than right but since having children the gap has widened - massively - and I think this is exacerbated by the fact that I've co slept with both children and they have always slept on the left of me. I've been very relaxed about using left breast as a "go back to sleep" tool which means it's been used much more than right both times. In fact ds went through a phase as a little baby when he didn't like the right at all.

ds is now one and only has a feed in the morning and evening - and through the night. I'm wondering if I swap bed sides and almost give up using the left breast if there's any chance the right one will catch up in size.

Any advice or similar experiences?

I think once you stop bf altogether they should get back to normal in a few months, ds1 always pref the right and therefore it was more active i think, but my wonkeyness did subside once i stopped bf

I don't think that anybody could really advise you on that one until you have stopped BFing altogether and probably waited a minimum of 3 months or so.

If you breasts have always been different then it is likely they still will be although when they do not lactate anymore the difference may be more what it used to be like IYKWIM.

If you have a difference of more than 1 cupsizes between R and L then plastic surgery may be available on the NHS (depends entirely on where you are in the country I am afraid) if that is something you'd consider.

In the meantime I am sending you best lopsided solidarity wishes WinkGrin

Thanks. don't think would consider plastic surgery although they are currently v wonky at times! I suppose my question was whether one breast could be stretched by being used more for bfing and therefore if I could stretch the other one to match by making it take over the lion's share till I stop! But I'm liking hte idea that the left is just more active and will calm down to being just a bit bigger than the right as opposed to Barbara Windsor to Twiggy!
