Am I starting to produce less milk!

My DD is now 10weeks old and initially I was producing so much milk I was almost drowning her when she was being fed. I was expressing in the evening 120 ml from one breast, so that her dad could do one of the night feeds and it didn't take very long to express. DD has been putting on lots of weight and everyone loves to squeeze her chub.

Now I keep her at 7pm when she goes to bed and then again at about 2/3am when she wakes for a feed and then again at around 7am. Tonight I tried to express and only got 30 ml from both breast in half an hour! I am slightly worried that I am not going to be producing enough and DD has been grumpy and wanting to feed lots the last few days. I guess it might just be that my milk has settled down to only produce what DD needs?

Anyone else had ideas/experience of this?

Yes, to start with I used to make so much milk I regularly soaked the bed, duvets and mattress! I think it was between 2 - 3 months before this stopped, so 10 weeks sounds about right. I'm still feeding now and DS will be 7 months on Friday. Expressing is much too much like hard work these days - I used to be able to pump over 100 mls in 10 minutes too, but at least I don't have to wear breast pads anymore. You might just have to assign her dad to nappy duty instead! :o
