I am breastfeeding all other feeds but started last night topping up the evening feed (around 10 o clock) with formula she took about 60ml but then didnt wake up at all until 6am so was asleep 8 hours. With fully breastfeeding she was waking every two hours. Is this ok? it seems like along time to suddenly sleep - do I need to wake her up earlier? give her less formula? or just go with it?

How old is your baby? I started topping up on the advice of my Doctor when DS was 5weeks. He did sleep longer which was great for me but it has affected my own supply. He's 13weeks now and going through a growth spurt and a cold :-( so is waking up more frequently. I think if you want to maintain your supply you might think about waking her up, it's been a slippery slope for us and we top up three times a day now.

she is nearly 6 weeks but I would like to switch to fully FF slowly so I am not too worried about supply just that shes not getting enough of either!

If she's hungry, she will let you know. If she's putting on weight and producing plenty of wet nappies then I think she's just fine :-)
Take her for weighing regularly as you make the switch and get advice from the HV. Good luck!
