Nursing bra sizing, when to buy and good website

I want to share my experience of getting a nursing bra which fits. At 38 weeks and prior to delivery (C-section)I was a bit sceptical about the advice to get a fitting for a nursing bra as my breasts were still small and not far off my prepregnancy size. However I didn't want to disregard potentially important advice so I went along with this bought a couple of nursing bras to take into hospital. It was a waste of money as I needed to buy a bigger size after the milk came in. It is my first baby and getting out to the shops in the first weeks was very challenging for me so I did a lot of internet searching and found a very useful website
www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk
and decided on a Bravado seamless bra which I wish I had known about before as the sizes are in bands S/M/L so can be used both before and after delivery. This website is particularly good because it was cheaper than other sources e.g. NCT shop, free very fast, delivery, 'no questions asked' returns for up to 45 days. They are very helpful and if you phone you get a helpful human which is a novelty these days! I have had trouble with blocked ducts so getting the right bra has been important and a great, fast service has been so helpful. Hope this helps anyone who is wondering about nursing bras, sizing at 38 weeks doesn't work for everyone!

This site was the cheapest price for a Bravado seamless that I could find searching on line. I
have been reading about the breastvest and wonder how useful it is for nursing discreetly, you can end up spending so much, wonder if most mums just manage with 'normal' clothes or if you need a 'nursing wardrobe'?
