I'm having a gastroscopy on Tuesday and I bf my 5 month old ds. I have checked with the hospital that I can have him with me before and immediately after the procedure, and they are happy for me to feed as I see fit. Problem is, I think that's a cunning way of getting out of researching what I should do.
Anyone had similar day procedures while bf'ing. Did you have the drugs, did they affect milk supply, ability to latch and position etc. If you refused the drugs - how bad is it?
