Unsettled BF baby and antibiotics

I am taking flucloxacillin to treat mastitis. I started on 250mg four times a day (with no obvious side-effects in baby) but was increased to 500mg four times a day as was still getting feverish after 48 hours. I started this higher does 24 hours ago and my little girl has been very unsettled all day. This is a very unusual pattern (she's 12 days old). She's feeding well, wet + dirty nappies, no temperature but won't settle as usual after a feed and is crying off and on until the next feed. Has anyone else experienced an unsettled baby while using antibiotics with mastitis?

not with mastitis, but my baby was very fractious when i took metronizadole, also a strong antibiotic, for 5 days. she stoped and settled down again within 24 hrs of stopping them.

Yes, mine cried and cried when I took antibiotics, she was about the same age as yours. She settled down very quickly once I stopped taking them.
