I read about this, isn't there a query that he's been fed some tainted food?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 24/08/2010 13:42

sorry, too quick to press post, I should have continued 'that has caused a metabolic disorder'

gorionine · 24/08/2010 13:44

Did not say much in that article, I assume that they ommited some details for sensationalism (if the word exist?)

Kreecher, is your Dd enjoying her new school? Not seen you back on your thread.

Gorionine, she is loving it. Living the dream at the moment, we'll see how long that lasts. There is so much more happening in Antwerp than there was in Switzerland, we went and saw the giant people last weekendGrin

gorionine · 24/08/2010 19:18

I was not sure you had actually moved country as well. DH went to Antwerp for a few days for work and came back with a tiny little diamond (hotel gift) I hopened the box to see it and lost itBlush. The giant People?

Sorry Gorionine, I've completely hijacked your thread. The giant people were a sort of marionette but huge. I think they were about 15 metres tall and they walked around Antwerp

SummerRain · 25/08/2010 13:28

Could be form of gaiantism couldn't it? I mean he's long too, not just round. It's like he's the same shape as a regular baby but just enlarged to twice the size... bizarre.

MumNWLondon · 25/08/2010 17:46

OMG, but although he is tall he is fat as well, not in proportion. Hard to imagine a baby getting so huge just on breast milk.

SummerRain · 25/08/2010 18:09

gaiantism? Hmm giantism obviously... only just noticed that, sorry!

gorionine · 25/08/2010 19:41

well Kreecher, from giant people to giantism it is very much in f=keeping with the threadSmile.

I did not think of giantism, maybeit could be an explanation.

Maybe the baby has Prader-Willi Syndrome. I think it would be possible to exclusively breastfeed a baby that large. Many women exclusively breastfeed multiple babies. Its exceptionally hard work, but the body can do it.

Poor thing. I hope he gets the medical help he needs.
