Is this a normal occurrence? Will my supply end up diminishing if she continues being on again off again? Or should I not worry too much?

I didn't stop BFding until my son was a little over 2, but when he stopped for a week - I just decided to quit. (I was def ready to quit) And when he asked for it again - I said 'we don't do that anymore'

She's probably in the process of weaning - and yes, I reckon your supply will be affected. If you want to continue, continue - if you don't now may be a good time to stop.

Congratulate yourself for going this long!

In the past when I thought we were going to stop she was very insistent that we continue and so we did. Last night it was the same, nothing to distract her fromt he fact she really wanted it. Night previous she asked and when I finally gave in she didn't really want it/won't stay on, but then she kept asking anyhow.
I'm of 2 minds about quitting. Sooner I do the easier nights with just me and dh can be had. But I really am happy most nights having her suckle then reading to her and then putting her to bed. (Though I admit feeling very 'free' for the first time in ages that dh could be the one to do the night routine...I had one night of bathing and another night of reading which did wonders for me)
