Every feed is like a wrestling match!

Feeding has recently changed from a lovely peaceful experience to something resembling a wrestling match. My little boy is just over 7 months and for the last couple of weeks has been a wriggling monster during feeds. He thrashes about, pinches, waggles his head around (ouch!) and waves his arms around like he's doing a rodeo. I used to enjoy watching tv or reading while feeding but now every little noise is a huge distraction.

To add to the mix he's also gone from sleeping through (4 months) to waking twice (6 months) to waking four times (or more) a night. He seems to have dropped a day feed so might be making up for this at night.

Please tell me this is just a phase and I will get my lovely cuddley feeds back again soon.....

It just his age. I Ones sat with my dd and my friend and her dd they were both the same age hers was bf mine was ff. It was very quiet no distractions they both did what you are describing my friend then said she had been thinking of giving up bf but after see my dd decided it wouldn't be any easier ff. As they get older the feds get quicker and then they drop them.
