Just spoken to a friend who had a baby on 1 Aug. Everything was fine and I asked her if she was BFing. 'No' she said. End of story. She was a bit embarrassed and I said I was just asking... not judging. The end. Not thought about it again til I saw this.

I am still BFing 9 month old but didnt with ds1. No big deal. I LOVE BFing this time but didnt last time. People should really calm down about it all IMO.

Only one of my family to bf - everyone went to formula. Of my friends I'm the only one to have bf more than a few months.

I LOVE it when I meet other Mum's who have fed their little one's past 12 months. Its so rare to meet someone that I feel like saying THANKYOU when someone tells me they fed for 2 years or whatever. So any extended breastfeeders out there.. make sure you tell people how long you breastfed for then we won't feel so alone with everyone thinking we're freaks.
