length of time to breast feed

DD is 19 weeks old. Sometimes she only feeds between 5 - 10 minutes on each breast and then is done!! she goes approx 3 hours between each feed. Does anyone else have a fast feeder?

Absolutely normal - DS used to do this sometimes and I'd wonder if he'd had enough - but they just get very good at feeding (and know there are interesting things to be seeing too!).

I wish my dd had been a fast feeder ... she used to feed every two hours for at least three quarters of an hour, and for 4 or 5 hours in the evening. Made life very difficult for a while!

If she is content then no problem. I think they vary from feed to feed!

Perfectaly normal. If she is content and putting on weight, then she is definately feeding enough.
