Can you buy replacement 'petal massage cushions' for Avent hand pumps?

Hi
I used the Avent hand breast pump with my first 2 DC and am expecting DC3 in a few weeks. I dug out the old breast pump and some of the parts look a little, um, unhygienic so I thought I'd get replacements. I can't seem to find the massage cushion bit anywhere.

There is a breast shell set you can buy which includes a piece that looks suspiciously like the bit on the pump and I wondered if anyone knows whether that could be used instead?

Thank you!

No the shells from the breast shell set don't fit, I thought that too and stupidly threw out the petal when I put the pump away after DD as I had the breast shell set as well.

Annoyingly it cost nearly (£10+ delivery) from avent customer services to get a new petal as it would have cost for a whole new pump.

However that was 4 years ago, I don't know the situation now.

oh dear. And they go on and on about how everything fits together in the same system as well. How irritating. It looks identical. Maybe I can try emailing them to see if anything has improved in 4 years.
thank you!

I have one i dont need that i can post to you that is in reasonable condition if you contact me with your address.

Alternatively, see if you can get a second hand pump from an nct sale or the paper. These are often hardly used and much cheaper than a tenner!

you've just made me realise I posted mine to an MNer and left out that bit - I never used it so completely forgot about it!
Must see if I can find it...
