Why would my breast fed baby's poo suddenly change?

My nearly 5 month old is exclusively breastfed, in the last few days her dirty nappies have gone from the normal mustard type runny poo (sorry!) to much thicker, more pale poos. She seems fine in herself but posseting a lot more than usual.

I am not especially worried, more interested.

Any ideas? Could it be teething?

Im not sure of the reason but my 21 week olds poo has got thicker in the last week or so too (she is exclusivley BF too). It has also got slightly darker in colour, i assumed it was due to her digestive system maturing as she seems well otherwise.
If you are at all worried though you should see your GP.

I think they know you get bored, changing nappies that are always the same, so they change the poo.

My DD is 4.5 months and I have noticed the same thing. Have also noticed the poo (and farts) are more smelly. I wondered if it was teething causing it too...
