Just had email bout 50% off all baby toiletries and lasinoh was on list. Thought this would help some people as it's sooo darn expensive!

...but soooo darn good!! Can you believe the "current advice" at ante-natal is to NOT use it and just apply breastmilk instead??? Bonkers. It's the only thing that stopped me giving up breast-feeding! Thanks for the tip-off.

I got it on prescription from my GP! Saved me a fortune.

Yes, Lansinoh is expensive! so if you are planning to use it then this is a good tip-off.

RuthyandBrendan - glad Lansinoh worked for you but I had the opposite experience. Breastmilk worked just fine for me - much better than Lansinoh. I think this was partly because breastmilk has antibacterial properties and partly because cracked/sore nipples need to be kept wet and soft (bit like cracked/sore lips really) Also partly because breastmilk is free!

Top tip - Lansinoh is fab for cracked noses when you have a cold - far better than anything else and as I have frequent colds and am pg will be purchasing from them!

my gp said it wasnt on the prescribed list anymore only kamillosan was - which I found rubbish.
