i decided that it was time for my dd1 to stop feeding and i was dreading it. i knew it was going to be hard as i am still feeding dd2 who is 11 month. i used a holiday with her nan as a stop date and told her leading up tot he holiday that mummys milk wont work after her hols. my plan was to stop feeding dd2 aswell but she missed her big sis so i couldnt bring myself to stop while dd1 was on holiday. i have made a reward chart for dd1 and she is collecting stars towards a toy. she does not see me feed dd2 a she only feeds at bed time. as far as she is concerned mummys boobs are broken. she has accepted this although she did suggest went to the doctor.
i have been thinking about how hard it was at the begining and i can honestly say i would not have got through it without the support of you ladies. i just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your help

Awww I know how hard it is when they stop. DD self weaned and I was still feeding DS (still am actually) and I felt miserable for weeks. But good for you, you've done really well and set her on the right path for the future. Good for you
