Pregnant and breast feeding

Hi there.
So DS is 10 months and EBF. I've just found out that I'm once again expecting.
Anyone have any tips? I'd like to carry on with the breastfeeding but is this realistic?
Thanks

No tips, but congratulations and good luck!

Congratulations. I'm currently feeding my 18 month old and 8 week old. Fed through pregnancy without much difficulty - it just got a bit sore at times. I'm sure my supply dropped quite a lot but it didn't bother DD1 at all - she carried on regardless. I introduced a cup of cow's milk in the evening with her tea to make sure she was getting enough when she was about 11 months old, but I don't think I really needed to and she would take it or leave it.

Would recommend reading Adventures in Tandem Nursing. Lots of helpful stuff in there about feeding during pregnancy.

Thank you!

I will look into that book.

Hi, just wanted to say that I am in a similar situation, BF my 16mo and 10 weeks pregnant. I have found that her initial latch has become pretty sore over the past few weeks, and also that she wants to feed more than she had been doing - perhaps because there is less there? Anyway, I plan to carry on for as long as we are both happy with the situation. Good luck

oooh congratulations. i fed my dd till she was 20mo and i was 5 months pregnant. if like my dd your ds feeds to sleep its very good for gettin a rest in the early months of pregnancy when you are so tired and sick. i found it great to be able to get into bed with dd and bf her to her sleep, allowing me to have a sleep too. i thinks its very realistic. the only reason i stopped bf my dd is cause i wanted to bf my new baby and didnt think bf 2 babies was realistic. good luck.
