..............how long does it take for your milk to completely go?

Please help those of you that have Bf for a good old while.

DS 18 mths self-weaned exactly 2 weeks ago for good, bit drawn out and towards the end he only had one feed (usually at night) sort of every other day really. For the last few months he had only really fed first thing in the morning and at night.

anyway, no leaking or pain of any sort but getting a funny 'heavy' sort of feeling in my boobs every so often. Oddly I sensed it today when standing near a wailing newborn at the safari park. So just out of interest I attempted to squeeze some out in the bath tonight and could still get a few drops out

So, how long does it hang around for??? Weeks, months maybe???

P.s My boobs do appear to have shrunk a whole cup size at least in the last 2 weeks.

My boobs always hurt if I am near a newborn's wailing food cry, even a year on they still started to leak . But my milk dried up in a week but if a baby started crying for food near me some appeared.

I fed DS for 2.3 years, mine dried up after about 4 days, suprised me how quickly it went to be honest!

I do get a weird feeling in my boobs still when I hear a baby cry though, makes my nipples stick out! (DS is 3.5 now)
