No baby yet but leaking through reusable breast pads!

Just wanted to see if this was normal and/or ok?

Basically I have 10 weeks left until my due date but my boobs are already leaking.... Loads. I dug out my re-usable breast pads from ds1 and I'd leaked right through it in less than 2 hours.

With ds1 my milk came in around day 2 after he was born and previous to that only had a miniscule amount of leakage (sorry)

Just wonderingif this has happened to anyone else! I'm having to pack spare tops and bra's every time I go out and changing around 4/5 times a day. It's got to the point where I'm only leaving the house when I really have to!

Any solutions to this?

I was like this, and once she was born...oh dear! Tommee Tippee best for me. Re-usable ones useless at that stage. Good luck!

Yes I've been like this - started at 12wks with DD1, was freaked out !!
I also use Tommee Tippee - by far the best.

DD4 is now 4mths and still leaking all over all the time -
but better to have too m uch milk than not enough!

/typing 1 handed, sorry

I'm using both of the tommee tippee and avent reusable pads! Maybe I should stick a disposable pad inbetween the pad and the bra?

it's a nightmare at the moment but glad I'm not the only one.

Hum I found the reusable ones that the big names did a bit useless they seemed to have no waterproof outter layer.

So I got some better one's when I ordered my nappies www.babykind.co.uk/breastfeeding.htm

Mine are the mommy's touch with the water proof backing, they where great.
